José Antonio Hermida

José Antonio Hermida, is the ambassador and the badge of proof.

The rider of Puigcerdà obtained the silver medal in the Olympic Games of Athens 2004 besides having participated in other four Olympic appointments, obtaining also two Olympic diplomas. He has also been crowned world champion in all categories and three times elite European champion.

Des was a young mountain bike winner and already won the junior world championship in 1996. He continued to triumph in the U23 World Championship, winning it in 2000. That same year he participated for the first time in an Olympic Games and won the fourth position in Sydney 2000. The best of his Olympic participation was that of Athens 2004 where he got the silver. He subsequently competed three more times in the Olympics, remaining tenth, fourth and fifteenth in Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016, respectively.
